2025 Year Ahead

1/30/25 This past month has not only flown but has been a month of reflection and new beginnings. Launching Goodrich Design ATX last year was a dream come true, and I am endlessly grateful to everyone who has supported me on this journey to help clients fall back in love with their spaces. In this newsletter, I’m thrilled to share a few of my favorite projects so far.

Last past spring, I worked with the amazing owners of a small medspa on their new space, balancing playful sophistication with a residential vibe. We incorporated organic pink and green hues, and brushed gold accents to bring this wild yet beautiful vision to life. You can read all the details in my latest blog post above and here.

I was also lucky to work with a close friend, reimagining her family room and breakfast nook. We drew inspiration from her home's beautiful arched niches and ceiling dome, infusing the space with radiant colors and pattern inspired by religious iconography.

Having lived in NYC for many years, I became skilled at making every inch of a home count. This led me to take a course with NAPO (National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals), adding professional organizing to my services. Now, I can help clients clear clutter and uncover the hidden treasures and joy in their homes. WHAT IF the spaces we use daily could lighten our mood and bring us more joy?

I've also found a niche helping clients dip their toes into the design process by revitalizing their bedrooms into cozy sanctuaries. One project was inspired by the rich, earthy reds of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, another by the sophisticated contrast of warm neutrals and dark wood. What can start as a successful one room project can then expand into other spaces. And, offering 3D renderings is a fun part of the design process to truly visualize what can be.

New for 2025

Austin is filled with great galleries! Tapping into my artistic roots, I've partnered up with local Austin art gallery, Unchained.art Contemporary Gallery. I love exploring the diverse roster of artists gallery owner Christina Hiltscher represents and the many colorful pieces she showcases. I would love to help you curate an art collection for your home or work space!

Last summer, my family and I spent an unforgettable summer exploring the Grand Canyon, Bryce, and Zion National Parks. The natural beauty of the rugged landscapes, with their soft, muted colors, deeply moved me, and I continue to weave these earthy tones into my designs.

Finally, I dove into a big family project late last summer - a full-scale renovation that included transforming our outdoor space with a pergola and pool deck. We used shiplap and deep, moody colors to create a retreat right at home, working with the incredible construction team of Elevation Custom Homes and Painter1 to make this vision a reality.

More projects to come. Thank you for being part of this journey, and I’m excited to keep sharing the beauty of design with you.
